Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions - Conduct routine dental exams and cleanings - Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:
- Proficient in using dental office management systems, such as NextGen - Familiarity with dental coding and billing practices - Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment - Ability to interpret medical imaging, such as X-rays - Strong understanding of medical terminology and dental anatomy - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff - Attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning - Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex dental issues - Compassion and empathy when working with patients who may experience dental anxiety or fear - Manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
